White Sox Waste Anderson's Heroics

Brian Anderson hit a homerun for the second day in a row, and this one was the biggest of his career. With the Sox down one in the ninth, he hit a 1-2 pitch over the left field fence for a two out game-tying homerun. Unfortunately, Brandon McCarthy gave up an RBI single to in the eleventh to lose the game.

Just like last year, the Sox could not manage to stretch their winning streak to nine games. The Sox have several eight game winning streaks last year but could not make it nine. Hopefully, this portends good things to come.

I almost forgot to mention that the Bulls lost. What a night!
