The Royals intentionally walked Paul Konerko in a tie game with a man on second and Joe Crede on deck. This came two days after Joe gave the White Sox an eighth inning lead with an eighth inning homerun off of Elmer Dessens, the same guy who was pitching in the eighth this afternoon.
